ImageWelcome to Salsa California. I'm Valerie, director of Siempre Salsa, San Diego's 1st  Salsa Company. Since 1989 our mission has been to "Salsa-fy" the whole state of California and anyone else that will listen!

Salsa Dance Scene

For those of you who are new to this "Salsa Thing", we offer complete Latin Promotion including Salsa dance classes, bookings for special events, and  promotion of Salsa clubs and artists. We also publish San Diego's only Salsa Newsletter, Siempre Salsa, and provide information on Salsa history, music, special events, and the California Latin Salsa scene in general.

For those who are dedicated Salseros and want to know "What's going on" in the San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Sacramento Salsa Communities, just browse through our city sections to the left.

This will be the last session of 2010 due to the Thanksgiving and Holdiays.

SALSACA'S LAST SATURDAY CELEBRATIONS

PHASE 1 of our LAST SAT celebrations :   AUG    Kiss                                         
SEVILLA ON THE BAY COMMING UP SAT AUG 28th.  THREE FLOORS OF FUN ON THE HORNBLOWER INSPIRATION. Boat boards at 8:00 pm gets there early!! Main floor @ 8:15PM join Valerie for a Salsa/Merengue Dance class followed by Johnny Polanco y Conjunto Amistad.  Down stairs Hip Hop and latin house, Top floor under the stars get into that Carebean mood the sounds of a steel band! Tickets are now running $45. and will be going up to $50. so get your tickets soon!!  It is going to be a beautiful night.            
PHASE 2 of our LAST SAT Celebrations:  SEPT   Laughing                                               
Join the Siempre Salsa Gang, SalsaCA, Orq. LGC, & DJ New Yo Rican as we continue our new adventure. On Sat Sept 25 Last Saturday we bring Live music to Tio Leo's Lounge.  Dance class at 8:00PM with "San Diego's First Lady of Salsa" Valerie followed by  San Diego's own Orq. LGC. The music doesn't stop, no... DJ New Yo Rican will keep you on the dancing to the best Salsa Merengue Bachata and Cha cha.  Friendly atmosphere, centrally located at Tio Leo 5302 Nappa St SD 92110. We boast plenty of free parking, drink & appetizer specials.  It is all good but Salsa CA's Last Saturdays are going to be better!!             
PHASE 3 of our LAST SAT Celebrations: OCT  Surprised                                                     SalsaCA.com's Annual HALLOWEEN Party!  Tio Leo's is going to be decked out to get you in the spirit!  It's a two night SPOOKATHON. YES Indeed! Saturday is going to be a serious party with prizes for best costumes. Orq. LGC in costume. Wow that should be worth the price of admission!!  The party doesn't stop OH NO  Sunday the 31st is the progression of the HALLOWEEN SPOOKATHON! Two nights of fun and frolic

 Club Bongo Sunday Salsa at Tio Leo's Lounge 5302 Napa Street SD 92116. Right off Morena Blvd! They are offering San Diego Salseros a central location,  ample free parking, wood dance floor, drink and scrumptious appetizers specials. We start at  7:30PM every Sunday with Valerie's Signature Salsa/Merengue Class followed by General Dancing at 8:30PM to the driving Salsa Sounds of  DJ New Yo Rican and DJ Andre.   It is the place to be in San Diego for Salsa on Sunday!

SEVILLA Schedule

TROPICAL TUESDAYS  A Night dedicated to Bachata and Merengue Cover $8.00 Bachata Class with Valerie & Rennato at 9:00PM DJ Israel and Alex el Heavy. Join us for our Fairwell to 555 4th Ave Tuesday Sept 20th it is going to be a party!  Tropical Tuesday won't stop while Sevilla Renovates we are going to keep the vibe going starting Sept 28th at club U31 (3112 University Ave SD 92104)!  Same hard core Bachata & Merengue never watered down! Drink specials y mas! Startng Sept 28th at U31!
FREE COVER Wednesdays- Sevilla shows a little sympathy for economic difficulties The evening includes San Diego's best Bands and DJ Andre- 8:30PM Salsa Class with Valerie & Elmer- Band starts at 10:00PM
Sevilla on THURSDAYS THE HALLMARK OF SAN DIEGO SALSA always will remain unchanged because it just couldn't get any better!  Salsa Class at 8:30m with Valerie and Terrance, SoCal's finest Band at 10:00PM in combination with DJ New Yo Rican, who could ask for anything more!!

SEVILLA SALSA MOVING PARTY  THURS SEPT 23rd We will have party to Kiss off the old location and get excited about the New Sevilla which is planned to open Winter 2010!  Be sure and give Valerie your email so we can keep in touch!   Wait to see what we have in store for you! Sept 23is going to be a night to remember! Sevilla has set the standard for Salsa in San Diego and the new location will just be raising the bar a little higher!!
